Welcome to the 11th Solihull Methodist Brownies, affiliated with the Methodist Church. We meet once a week during the school term and there are other opportunities for the girls to take part in special activities and events throughout the year. We aim to take the Brownies on an annual pack holiday during the autumn term.
Our Brownies have fun! They take part in indoor and outdoor activities that challenge them to do their best! The meetings are action-packed and full of challenges, games and activities, usually ones that the Brownies have suggested themselves. Everything a Brownie does is an adventure - it's a world of excitement, new interests and friends.
Brownies can also work towards badges - sometimes as a Pack, a six or individually. There are badges to cover nearly every interest and activity and Brownies have a handbook which lists all the badges and what they entail.
Brownies belong to a Pack and work in small groups called Sixes. This gives each girl a group of ready-made friends to take care of her. It also makes her feel that she belongs to something special. One Brownie is chosen to be the leader of her Six; she is called a Sixer and another Brownie is her assistant, called a Seconder. We have 4 Sixes in our pack:
